We are a growing community near the Sunray Peace Village in Lincoln, VT, expanding most recently to embrace 3 newborn babies in our local families. And we welcome all those who are interested in learning the practices as taught to us by Venerable Dhyani Ywahoo, through the kindness of the Ywahoo lineage. The Peace Village includes a Temple of the Adawees, Wise Protectors, Buddhist Stupa, Lotus Labryinth and an Arbor where the Elders gather annually to share Teachings with the people. All of this is on sacred land at the base of Odali Utugi, also called Hope Mountain. Click here for a walking tour of the land. Weekly community practices include dance practices on Tuesday mornings and Basic Meditation practice on Thursday evenings. All are welcome to participate in these meditations! They are held at the Peace Village. As a community, we are learning together “Mindfulness," how to care for each other and how to preserve this sacred land for our children, their children and their children! We are looking at ways to help sustain our community and the land. Walking the Peace Village is a precious opportunity, in a very beautiful place and has been consecrated as a sanctuary for spiritual renewal and planetary healing. Camping is available during the summer months and participation in caretaking the land, assisting during the Elders Gathering in late July and practicing together is a way of skillfully transforming appearances of dissonance. Special events and activities are posted on the Sunray Peace Village blog.
